MN Rush Competitive program compromises of roughly 800 players U9-U19. The spring / summer league starts in February/March with one or two sessions a week in the RCTC indoor dome. Outdoor training will typically start the week after the Rochester School District’s spring break with a minimum of two training sessions per week. Games will start at the beginning of May and will be during the week (league portion). The league portion of the season will be finished around early to mid July, with the remainder of July reserved for the State Tournament. A maximum of three tournaments can be scheduled by the team that will account for a total of three weekends throughout the season.
An age-appropriate curriculum is provided, as well as ongoing support from the MN Rush Directors of Coaching. Formal education is required to become a head coach in a competitive program. A minimum of two USSF Grass Roots modules (or equivalent) must be obtained prior to the start of the competitive league games. Exceptions can only be granted by the MN Rush Director of Coaching. We encourage qualified parents and non-parents of players to apply for head coaching positions.

Teams will be assigned based on a number of factors, that include, but not limited to, license level, experience, age group requested, and gender requested. This position is a paid position. Payment varies depending upon license level. Total time commitment varies based on the age group you are coaching, but would involve practices and games starting in February/March and ending In July.

For our competitive teams we generally assign U13 and older teams to Southern Woods or Lincolshire. For our U9-U12 teams we generally assign to Withers Soccer Complex.
Some exceptions will be made, but generally we want the competitive teams practicing in these locations to allow senior staff coaches to provide support to the teams.
