Formal education is required to become a head coach in a competitive program. A minimum of two USSF Grass Roots modules (or equivalent) must be obtained prior to the start of the competitive league games. Exceptions can only be granted by the MN Rush Director of Coaching. We encourage qualified parents and non-parents of players to apply for head coaching positions. MN Rush will help anyone interested in obtaining the license- the club will cover license costs.
We need your help. In order for all these kiddos to play we need volunteer coaches. Please consider helping, we provide a complete 6 week training program for any grade level along with full-time staff support from both Neil Cassidy and Angelo Tartaglia.
This is a great spot to start your coaching career. We work with children age 2 and up. The club will provide lesson plans and supervision. In addition all coaches are paired with a senior coach until they are comfortable to take on their own class. This is a great part-time job!
