2024 Fall COMPETITIVE LEAGUE
General Information
We are excited to open our 2024 Fall Competitive League Play program. Entering our 49th year, Minnesota Rush continues to be a leader in the soccer community with a player centered approach, constantly working to provide the best service to you and your family. MN Rush is the only club with full / part time staff members solely dedicated to your player.
Minnesota Rush is the only club in Rochester that is a member of the Minnesota Youth Soccer League, Southern Minnesota League and Twin City Soccer League, which is part of the United States Soccer Federation. We follow all mandates and recommendations for player development set at the National level.
By joining Minnesota Rush you will receive the following benefits:
- United States Soccer Licensed Coach or a Tetra Brazil Licensed Coach for each team- We ask all our coaches to become licensed with the entry level grassroots course. Most coaches go beyond the grassroots and attain higher level licensure.
- Senior Staff Coaches for each age group- these professional coaches have advanced degrees in coaching. Currently on staff we have 2-A-licensed Professional Coaches, and 3 B-license coaches.
- Senior Goalkeeper Coach to work with all teams and offer private keeper sessions.
- Players will have the ability to play at the highest levels in the state

Practice Location
Most teams will practice at Withers, Southern Woods, or Kepp Soccer Complex. The coach does have the option to move to a different location with Senior Staff Approval.
Typical Practice times are 530-645pm for U9 / U10 and 530-700pm for U11-U14. Again, coaches have the option to change practice time to a later time if it is better for their schedule
Practice Nights
U9/U10 Boys and Girls- Monday/Wednesday
U11/U12 Boys and Girls- Tuesday / Thursday
U13/U14 Boys and Girls- Monday / Wednesday
**Practice times are determined by the coach but generally 530pm start time**
** Practice nights can be determined by the coach in case it is necessary.

Dates
The season will run August 26th - October 12th. Teams may go longer if they decide to do a late season tournament.
Cost
U9/10 - $350
U11-14- $385
Financial Aid is available for any family in need. Families that are part of WIC, SNAP automatically qualify- simply upload a pic during the financial aid application process. If you are in need of help but do not have a WIC or SNAP card, please fill out the financial aid detailing the reason for the need. The financial aid application will appear once you log into your playmetrics account and click on club programs- It will appear at the top of the screen.
Uniforms
All players playing Fall 2024 will need to make sure they have the below uniform kit. When you register, you will be given automatic information on how to order. Rough cost is $170.

Teams
In order to maximize player development, we will do our best to place players on teams where they are surrounded by others of similar ability.
Players will be placed based on a combination of how they ranked on their previous team and tryout rankings.
We do not share specifics regarding rankings and scores.
Team formation depends on the following:
- Player Development- is the player at the appropriate level
- Teams moving from 7v7 to 9v9 to 11v11 will have players added - sometimes we have to move several players around to even out the teams.
High School vs Club - we ask players / families to make a decision on what they want to try out for- we can not hold a spot for your child. If a player signs up for HS and then does not make the team, they can reach out to the club to see if there is room, but it is not guaranteed. Refunds will not be given to players that sign up for the club and decide to play HS.
Registration Deadline for Fall Competitive will be July 27th, 2024
