General Information

We are excited to open our 2025 Spring / Summer Competitive League Play program. Entering our 50th year, Minnesota Rush continues to be a leader in the soccer community with a player centered approach, constantly working to provide the best service to you and your family. MN Rush is the only club with full / part time staff members solely dedicated to your player.

Minnesota Rush is the only club in Rochester that is a member of the Minnesota Youth Soccer League, Southern Minnesota League, and the Twin City Soccer League. We follow all mandates and recommendations for player development set at the National level.

Minnesota Rush is the only Club in the area that has teams at all levels of play.

By joining Minnesota Rush you will receive the following benefits:

United States Soccer Licensed Coach or a Tetra Brazil Licensed Coach for each team- We ask all our coaches to become licensed with the entry level grassroots course. Most coaches go beyond the grassroots and attain higher level licensure.
Senior Staff Coaches for each age group- these professional coaches have advanced degrees in coaching. Currently on staff we have the two A-licensed Professional Coaches and 3 B-license coaches.
Senior Goalkeeper Coach to work with all teams and offer private keeper sessions.
Winter team training for all teams.
Players will have the ability to play at the highest levels in the state

Practice Information

Indoor sessions:

- Teams will will start training at the end of February- U9-U12 will be at Rush World and U13 and older will be at the RCTC Dome.

- Due to the complexity of the schedule with other groups, practice sessions will rotate nights. Once we know the number of teams, we will update the schedule.

Outdoor sessions:

- Once the league comes out with the game nights, we will be able to determine the practice nights. We will update this webpage as soon as we have the information.

- Teams will practice 2 times per week with generally 1 game per week starting in late April.

- Games usually conclude end of June or early July.

- Practice location will be determined by the coach and senior coaching staff

- Time of the practice usually falls between 530 or 700pm for a start time. Practices run 1hr 15min to 1hr 30min depending on the age of the group.

Expectations

Over the course of the season, players of all levels are expected to make as many practices and games as possible. If a player is to miss a practice or game they must communicate this with the coach.

Dates
The season will run end of February-through early July. Once we have

confirmation dates for indoor times we will communicate this with all families.

Uniforms

We are still in the current uniform cycle so players that participated in Fall / Spring 2024 do not need to

buy a new kit unless they want to. If you are new to the club, please email Annie Block at ablock@minnesotarush.com

in order to get instructions on how to order the kit. The kit cost roughly $170 and includes want you see below.

Registration Cost

$625 for U9/U10 players

$675 for U11 -U18 players

Costs include the following expenses:

- **New for 2025- all tournament costs are included in registration fee**

(Team managers will not longer need to collect and parents will no longer need to write checks)

- Indoor and outdoor field rentals

- Referees for League games

- Player Secondary Insurance

- Office Expenses

- League fees

- Coaching Pay

- Equipment

** Financial aid is available- please complete the fin aid document during the registration**

** Please select the "payment plan option" when registering. There will be an initial $60 payment when you register, and then the remaining amount will be spread out over 7 months- November-May. Payments will come out on the 1st of each month.

** No friend or coach requests are allowed at the competitive level**

If you are attending tryouts or wish to be considered for the top team in the age group you MUST register by Registration Deadline is July 5th, 2024!

If you are not attending tryouts and do not wish to be considered for the top team in the age group, the deadline is October 31st, 2024

U9/U10 do not have tryouts, therefore the deadline to sign up for these age groups will be October 31st, 2024

There is NO separate registration for tryouts, players simply need to register the for the 2025 Competitive Season
